Things to do

With two of England’s most beautiful and wild National Parks and two Areas of Outstanding National Beauty on the door step, Kendal is an ideal location from which to start your campervan holiday. The bigger question is with so much to see and do…where will your adventure take you?

Less is more on a campervan holiday. Both in the things you need to bring from home and the distance you need to travel to get away from it all and enjoy campervan life to its fullest. While the campervan gives you the flexibility and luxury to travel in comfort and style, you don’t want to spend all your time travelling and inside viewing the world through a window. Stay a while, get out and about, explore and soak up the atmosphere of a place and get under its’ skin. There is so much to see and do you will wonder how to fit it all in.

With so very many amazing places to see, things to do and out of the way gems to explore, it’s tricky to know where to start planning your campervan adventure. To help you get the most out of your holiday we have teamed up with the guys at Wild Things Publishing who are the experts in all things wild, fun, outdoors and ‘off the beaten track’ to bring you some of the very best of what the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales have to offer

In partnership with Wild Things Publishing and using the following guidebooks we have put together a list of some of our favourite places to go in and around the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks. Put the kettle on, sit back and start getting excited about your holiday.
